Fun with ATC's

I've joined a couple more ATC swaps. What is an ATC, you ask? It's a 3.5 by 2.5 inch work of art. I call it a "statement of art". You can then use the ATC's on cards, scrapbook pages, whatever afterwards. You could even put your business card info on the back and have a fancy business card showcasing the cool you!

I've included two of the three (the 3rd one is still drying) of the swap I've entered. One group was called Fairies and the other group was purple. Enjoy!

You are the friend beneath my wings...

I saw this stamp at Rubbernecker stamps, which I frequent way too often, and knew it was for me. I love hummingbirds! I created the card for my sweet friend Em, who came to town for a visit this past weekend. It's been since LAST Easter weekend that I saw her, and man have I missed her and her family. We all had a great time visiting. The saying inside is from Hambo stamps and reads the same as the title. "You are the friend beneath my wings." We've been friends since we were kids, and she's still the one I call first when I need someone to talk to. The cardstock is by DCWV in case you were wondering.

Love you Em!

Sweet One

Hi all - I got to spend a lot of time this weekend with my sister-in-law who is preggers with twins. I really enjoyed myself. We made invitations for her shower that I will share at a later date. They turned out really cute.
The card I'm sharing with you today is one from a Sale-A-Bration set called Sweet Scallops. I used Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and white cardstock. I also used the paper found that you can get as a hostess gift. I used a cuttlebug machine to dry emboss and the scallop punch to frame the stamp set. Easy peasy and cute too!
Hope you like it.

p.s. Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I went on a wonderful trip to Washington state and then got the 2 week strand of the flu bug. Ugh!

I made my first ATC for a swap helpd by Nina Perrin. It was a lot of fun and I do believe I'll be making more of these little guys! I love the little Fairie stamp set. It's a retired one, but still adorable!

We are heading to Washington state tomorrow so won't be posting for a bit. Big , bad, Brad is watching the house and the dog while we are away. Thanks Brad!

Have a great week everyone.
